Low sliding friction type seal packing made of flexible graphite sheet and a nickel alloy mesh, and formed into a ring, whose internal periphery has undergone lubricating treatment with PTFE and fine graphite powder.
This packing is used for nuclear applications, to control chlorine ion concentration.
This packing features a metal mesh that is easy to handle and reduces valve stem sliding friction, in addition to sealability and chemical resistance. - Main constituent materials
