Low sliding friction type braided packing made with flexible graphite yarn reinforced with stainless steel wire, and treated with liquid lubricant to prevent liquid penetration and with PTFE and fine graphite powder to reduce sliding friction.
This packing is used for nuclear applications, to control chlorine ion concentration.
This gland packing is for medium-pressure, medium-temperature valves and high-performance valves. It offers a good balance of principle functions with good sealing performance against low stem sliding friction, and can be used on its own in valve applications of up to Class 900. - Main constituent materials
